About this grant
The project goal is to address the new and continued challenges facing immigrants throughout the Americas. The Hispanics in Philanthropy Migration and Forced Displacement Program accomplishes this through grantmaking, funder engagement, capacity building and communications efforts. During the previous grant period, the grantee served migrants through regranting to migrant-serving organizations, narrative change around migration, funder education activities and capacity and network-building support services. During this grant period, the grantee will regrant, increase donor awareness on migration issues, provide learning opportunities and continue to build a positive narrative around migrants. Founded in 1981, Hispanics in Philanthropy is the leading philanthropic membership organization for grantmaking in Hispanic and Latino communities. Hispanics in Philanthropy works across the Americas to strengthen Latino leadership, equity and voice by facilitating greater philanthropic investments in Latino communities.
