About this grant
The Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation is a trade group of more than 400 companies working in the renewable energy sector. With prior Mott Foundation support, the grantee organized a second Amazon Forum and conducted a successful solar roadshow that visited 72 Brazilian cities and trained more than 2,000 people in solar energy use. With an aim to build supply chains and markets for solar energy in remote Amazon regions over the next grant period, the Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation will promote private-sector engagement and knowledge exchange as well as public training and adoption of solar through the continued roadshow and model projects.
