About this grant
This renewal grant will provide general purposes support to the Harlem Children’s Zone, whose mission is to end intergenerational poverty in Central Harlem and become the model for how other long-distressed communities nationwide and around the world can do the same. Created in 2000, the Harlem Children’s Zone annually provides education, health and employment services to over 20,000 children and families living in a 97-block area in Central Harlem.
