Vermont Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support Vermont Afterschool which coordinates the Vermont Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) advance values-centered practices to expand partnerships, improve professional development and program quality and enhance data collection efforts; 2) elevate youth voice to inform policy considerations, organizational leadership and community engagement in support of afterschool; 3) work with education stakeholders to design and implement education recovery funding to help Vermont youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
