Massachusetts Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership which coordinates the Massachusetts Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) partner with local education agencies to expand community schools models by embedding afterschool programs in districts; 2) educate state leaders to highlight the impact of afterschool to demonstrate the need for state-level funding and collaboration; 3) work with education stakeholders to design and implement education recovery funding to help Massachusetts youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
