New York Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the New York State Network for Youth Success, Inc. which coordinates the New York State Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) continue to work with state education and policy leaders to inform a New York universal afterschool initiative; 2) grow work with STEM ecosystems to create more accessible STEM focused programming geared towards workforce development; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help New York youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
