Washington Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support School’s Out Washington which coordinates the Washington Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) strengthen the statewide coalition of youth development and childcare providers to bolster advocacy and program quality throughout the afterschool continuum; 2) scale responsive professional development and program quality resources to providers across the state, with a focus on more robust local and regional efforts; 3) work with education stakeholders to design and implement education recovery funding to help Washington youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
