Arizona Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence which coordinates the Arizona State Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) continue to engage with state agencies to support efforts such as a new child care development fund plan and development of school-aged program guidelines; 2) expand professional development offerings for providers in Arizona, including the development of a credentialing initiative; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help Arizona youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
