Ohio Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the PAST Foundation which coordinates the Ohio Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) develop a strong strategic funding approach, align goals and resources, and establish active standing committees to secure long-term sustainability and engagement; 2) build relationships with key stakeholders and increase career exploration, mentorship and internship programming for youth with a focus on STEM; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help Ohio youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen Education, Inc. resources.
