About this grant
For over 50 years, Clean Wisconsin has worked to protect and preserve Wisconsin’s clean water, clean air and natural heritage. With an active membership and advocacy base of more than 20,000, their staff of experts conducts sound science, engages in public policy, takes legal action and fosters strong partnerships with allies and stakeholders to help ensure a safe, healthy environment for all. Previous Mott Foundation support has led to policy advances such as protections against PFAS contamination, reductions in agricultural runoff and cleanup of urban stormwater while growing partnerships and coalitions to address these issues. With renewed support, Clean Wisconsin will continue to advance its mission through policy advocacy, scientific research, regional collaboration and education, and community engagement to help ensure a more resilient and environmentally just future for the state, including communities in the Great Lakes region.
