About this grant
Conservation and good natural resource management are essential for poverty alleviation, sustainable economic development, food and freshwater security, conflict avoidance and human health. To effectively address this set of interconnected issues, policymakers need high-quality information from trusted sources on a range of topics. Since its founding in 2010, the ICCF Group has served this educational role in the U.S. and internationally, currently supporting conservation caucuses in seventeen countries. With general purposes support, the grantee will continue to deliver a successful series of briefings, roundtables and workshops on a range of issues, including forests and energy for federal policymakers in the U.S.
