About this grant

A comprehensive approach to addressing climate change should include solutions that harness the power of natural systems, such as forestry and agricultural practices that sequester carbon. The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, a national organization representing hunter and angler groups from across the country, is leading an effort to support nature-based climate solutions at the federal level. With prior Mott Foundation support, the partnership conducted research, launched an interactive map highlighting successful climate solution projects and undertook additional activities to educate decision-makers, hunters, anglers and other stakeholders about nature-based climate solutions. With this renewal grant, the grantee will add new content to their online interactive map, develop complimentary digital video content, work with corporate leaders to promote nature-based climate solutions and continue to educate a range of stakeholders, including decision-makers, hunters and anglers from diverse communities.
