About this grant
Conectas is a Brazilian nongovernmental agency, founded in 2001, working on strengthening social and environmental governance and accountability of development finance institutions. During the previous grant period, the grantee helped strengthen transparency and social environmental governance at the Brazilian Development Bank and New Development Bank, and monitored the implementation of the first New Development Bank financed energy project in Brazil. With this grant increase, The grantee will develop activities related to the Inter-American Development Bank and the implementation of the Leticia Pact and also will deepen knowledge of Chinese investments in the region.
