Monitoring Infrastructure Investments in Argentina

The Fundacion Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is an Argentina-based nongovernmental organization that has promoted sustainable finance and development through policy, law and civic engagement for almost 40 years. Over the previous grant period, the grantee made progress in monitoring and analyzing the factors and financial actors shaping energy development and project selection in Argentina. In the current grant, the grantee and partners will continue monitoring development projects in the country funded by international financial institutions, focusing on infrastructure and energy projects. The goal is to strengthen the socio-environmental standards governing such projects.
