About this grant

The program goal is to encourage community foundations to advance Sustainable Development Goals at the local level. To this end, the Cleveland Foundation will create a learning exchange cohort with other community foundations and local stakeholders in Northeast Ohio on aligning their giving areas with the goals. The grantee will convene stakeholders over 15 months for learning and alignment sessions, publish a teaching case study and/or report around goal alignment efforts, identify common benchmarks and shared measurements to further a regional vision, conduct a 17 Rooms-X exercise and develop a dashboard to capture the Northeast Ohio learning cohort’s Sustainable Development Goals alignment efforts. Founded in 1914, the Cleveland Foundation is the nation’s first community foundation.
