About this grant
The Brazilian Institute for Consumer Defense is a prominent nongovernmental organization dedicated to ensuring citizens proper access to essential goods and services, promoting social development, sustainable consumption and environmental health. Over the next project period, the grantee will focus on facilitating public hearings to advocate for service improvements and regulatory adjustments to address the specific needs of consumers in Amazon regions. Additionally, the grantee will launch campaigns and raise awareness about the social and economic impacts of renewable energy access for isolated communities in the Brazilian Amazon.
