Engage Every Student Initiative

About this grant

This grant will support the American Association of School Administrators to establish a national technical assistance consortium for local school districts seeking to increase afterschool and summer learning programs. This consortium will align with the new Engage Every Student Initiative that seeks to establish an afterschool program spot for every youth who needs one through use of education recovery resources, including American Rescue Plan funding. Specifically, this grant will support the American Association of School Administrators to: 1) establish a national technical assistance consortium supporting school districts, community-based providers and municipal partners; 2) establish a call center to provide timely support to local school and community-based staff; 3) coordinate a Superintendent Speakers Bureau; and 4) coordinate a multimedia communications campaign to promote Engage Every Student Initiative and its goals and the technical assistance consortium.
