About this grant
The Bretton Woods Project, an initiative of the preeminent development organization ActionAid, has been a key actor on international financial institution reform issues since it was established in 1995. Over the last two years, with Mott Foundation support, the project advocated for better alignment of the World Bank’s climate and energy work with the Paris Agreement as well as greater transparency and accountability on the World Bank’s climate commitments. With this grant, the Bretton Woods Project will continue to ensure that the World Bank’s climate commitments are implemented, strengthen civil society engagement with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund and remain a highly respected repository of information, analysis and recommendations on World Bank policy and operations.
