About this grant
The NGO Forum on ADB works to make the policies and operations of the Asia Development Bank and the Asia Infrastructure and Investment Bank more sustainable, accountable and aligned with the development priorities of local communities in Asia and the Pacific. With Mott Foundation support, the grantee secured significant commitments from both institutions that bring them closer to alignment with the Paris Agreement. Over the next two years, NGO Forum on ADB will: 1) continue its advocacy for complete decarbonization of the two banks’ investment portfolio; 2) lead civil society participation in discussions on the clean energy transition; and 3) build the capacity of its members to constructively engage with Chinese financial institutions.
