Expanding Entrepreneurial Education

About this grant

Since 2006, Lemonade Day has aimed to prepare youth for life through critical teachings that bridge the gap from home to school and career. Working in over 90 cities in the last 15 years, the grantee has immersed 1.5 million kids into its entrepreneurial and experiential learning journey, earning over $352.5 million in sales, generating $270 million in profit and $142 million in donations. With renewed funding support, the grantee will continue to expand its programming to reach more youth with its entrepreneurial and whole child social-emotional approach. Specifically, this grant will support the grantee’s reach and impact by: 1) increasing access and opportunity for underserved youth to benefit from a curriculum highlighting business and life skills; 2) offering opportunities for the community to engage in youth entrepreneurship through mentoring, communications and business collaborations; and 3) engaging with the 50 State Afterschool Network in states outside of the grantee’s network. Lemonade Day will also contribute content to Mizzen Education, Inc.
