About this grant
350.org is a global environmental organization founded in the United States in 2008 with a strong presence in South America and a focus on amplifying Indigenous and local voices. During the previous grant period, the grantee mobilized its grassroots network to address the social and environmental impacts of the finance and development of fossil fuel resources in the region. During this grant period, the grantee aims to reduce fossil fuel investments in environmentally sensitive areas of Colombia, Argentina and the Brazilian Amazon by building a strong climate movement across South America. 350.org will support civil society networks and equip frontline communities and climate leaders with the skills to engage with fossil fuel financiers, advocate for clean energy solutions and actively participate in energy transition discussions.
