About this grant
The Michigan Environmental Council is a coalition of 100 leading environmental and conservation organizations in Michigan. Since the 1980s, the grantee has positioned itself as a champion for securing lasting protections for Michigan’s air, water, land and natural resources, as well as the human livelihoods that depend on them. This grant will enable the grantee to advance water protections and climate change solutions in Michigan and the broader Great Lakes region and strengthen the Michigan Environmental Council’s internal capacity to effectively serve its growing membership and the environmental conservation movement in Michigan.
