About this grant
The purpose of this project is to develop and pilot a high-quality, streamlined and cost-effective teacher certification pathway for afterschool professionals. Mott Foundation funds will support program design and implementation activities as well as research, including interviews with potential providers and participants. This project will be implemented in collaboration with the Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative, a statewide effort to strengthen and grow Michigan’s educator talent pipeline. The Berrien Regional Education Service Agency is Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative’s fiscal sponsor.
