About this grant
The purpose of the Flint Downtown Development Authority is to address and prevent deterioration, encourage historical preservation, create and implement development plans, promote economic growth and redevelopment and encourage the expansion of commercial enterprises, all within the downtown district boundaries. This grant will provide operating funds to the Flint Downtown Development Authority and is needed as a result of a decrease in parking revenue, which is a significant source of funding for the organization.
