About this grant

This grant will support the Everyone Graduates Center at Johns Hopkins University to establish a network hub, the National Partnership for Student Success, to provide technical assistance connecting local education agencies with service providers in five, evidence-based service areas for student recovery: academic tutoring, mentoring, post-secondary transition and student success coaching, and wraparound student supports. Launched by the White House creating a cross-agency partnership between the Department of Education and AmeriCorps, the initiative aims to recruit 250,000 volunteers in these roles over the next three years. The goals of this initiative include increasing the number of school districts implementing these strategies and the number of adult volunteers serving in these roles to improve student outcomes.
