About this grant
This grant will provide the Flint Institute of Music with funds to attract and market more high-profile and niche genre shows at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Flint. Shows at the theatre provide entertainment, spur economic development and improve quality of life for the Flint area. This grant will enable the Flint Institute of Music to further activate the Capitol Theatre venue and diversify both the types of performances and audiences.
