About this grant
As the world’s largest economy and second-largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, the United States must play a leadership role in addressing the climate crisis. Citizens Climate Education, a national group, works to build a diverse and well-informed citizenry to actively engage in civic processes that enable climate policy advances, regardless of the political party in power. With general purposes support from the Mott Foundation, Citizens Climate Education will expand the number and diversity of its grassroots volunteer members and help them through education and training to make climate solutions a top-tier issue across the country.
