Expanding Educational Opportunities in Michigan

About this grant

With Mott Foundation and partner funder support, the Michigan Association of United Ways is working to establish a public-private partnership initiative to advance afterschool programming for Michigan’s youth and families. The overall goal of this initiative is to ensure that all Michigan youth have access to quality afterschool and summer learning opportunities. With this increase, the grantee will expand its current efforts to: 1) conduct a robust evaluation of statewide afterschool programs; 2) further develop communications initiatives; and 3) continue to support afterschool expertise and capacity at the state level.
