About this grant
The most pressing environmental challenges facing Michiganders include: 1) access to safe and affordable drinking water; 2) the impacts of climate change; and 3) the health effects of air pollution. The ability of citizens to effectively participate in the decisions that impact public and environmental health is also a concern. The Michigan League of Conservation Voters Education Fund works to educate policymakers, other stakeholders and the general public about ways to effectively address such challenges. With general purpose support from the Mott Foundation, the grantee will work on a range of water and climate issues while also building its own organizational strength.
