About this grant
With this grant, the Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, through its supported organization the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, will make necessary repairs to the former 1st Source Servall Appliance Parts building on Kearsley Street in downtown Flint. The space is now used by two nonprofit organizations — the Flint River Watershed Coalition and Keep Genesee County Beautiful. A properly functioning building is necessary for the two organizations as they lead recreational and educational activities and initiatives that directly and positively impact Flint and Genesee County residents.
