About this grant
This grant will support the continuation and refinement of the Zillion Solutions program at the University of Michigan-Flint. Launched in 2017, Zillion Solutions is an annual idea competition created to increase student interest in entrepreneurship, innovation and/or problem-solving. The program is designed to generate participation across all academic units on campus, including dual-enrolled high school students and high school students involved in entrepreneurship programs in Genesee County schools. The program aims to help build a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the university and beyond. The one-time grant increase will be utilized to create an online Canvas course that will increase student access to the program and address some staffing capacity issues resulting from the program’s growing popularity.
