About this grant
This grant will support the continuation of the Steel Drums Program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint. The program has been part of the activities offered by the grantee for over ten years. Due to a leadership transition, this grant will provide one-time funding to train and coach new instructors and continue the program without disruption as new funding sources are pursued for future years. Up to 12 young people will participate and perform at events and festivals throughout the community.
