About this grant
This grant to the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services will support a program called the Teen Grantmaking Initiative. In partnership with the Arab American Heritage Council, a Flint-based organization, the enrichment program will offer an opportunity for diverse teens, including Arab American young people, to increase their civic engagement, leadership skills and knowledge of philanthropy. Participants will learn about and experience assessing community needs, fundraising and grantmaking through this initiative.
