About this grant
With this grant, Michigan Technological University will lead the Superior Storytellers project, an initiative aimed at engaging youth in placed-based learning experiences on Lake Superior. The summer program will provide young people the opportunity to work along other stakeholders in the Keweenaw Peninsula to explore and develop interconnected geological and human stories that serve as the foundation for the area’s past, present and future.
