About this grant
This grant to the United Way of Genesee County will support case management services at the 2025-26 Warming Center sites. The funds will be used to work with unhoused individuals and gain a better understanding of episodic and chronic challenges that have contributed to their lack of a long-term housing solution. Flint has experienced an increase in homelessness in the last year, and both providers and partners seek to better understand the contributing factors and design solutions that will result in fewer chronically unhoused individuals.
