About this grant
The European Center for Not-for-Profit Law Stichting is a nonprofit registered in the Netherlands that works to protect and expand civic space globally. The grantee will build on its achievements by: 1) providing legal and policy expertise; 2) strengthening civil society organizations and coalitions; 3) developing practical tools; and 4) engaging national and multilateral institutions. During this grant period, the grantee will focus on: 1) emerging threats to civic space related to artificial intelligence; 2) security and financial regulations; 3) restrictions on protest and civil disobedience; and 4) declining resources for civil society. It will also strengthen its use of foresight to help partners anticipate and respond to emerging restrictions.
