About this grant
The project goal is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in Latin America to engage in digital policy and regulatory processes that affect civic space, democracy and economic and social rights. The grantee will: 1) expand its advocacy capacity-building programs; 2) strengthen research and monitoring of civic space; and 3) convene civil society, government, academia and private-sector actors around digital governance. The project will build on Civic Compass’ regional experience and partnerships while deepening support for organizations navigating an increasingly restrictive civic environment.
