About this grant
The project goal is to increase the capacity of community paralegals in South Africa. To this end, the North-West University will continue implementing its vocational training for community paralegals. This training will be accessible for paralegals working in advice offices throughout South Africa. Past support helped the grantee deliver six training modules to community paralegals across South Africa. The training helped community paralegals to apply legal theory to their practical daily work and was delivered both in person and online. North-West University was established in 2004 when the former University of the North-West merged with the Potchefstroom University for Christian Education.
