About this grant
The goal of this grant is to increase access to justice for poor and marginalized people in Malawi. To this end, the Centre for Human Rights Education Advice and Assistance will implement a comprehensive set of interventions that reinforce access to justice, dignity and protection of vulnerable populations. The grantee will strengthen community legal awareness through targeted civic education and outreach activities, ensuring that individuals understand their rights and available avenues for redress. Established in 2000, the grantee envisions a Malawian society that upholds human rights, justice and the rule of law. Its mission is to promote and protect human rights by supporting vulnerable and marginalized people to access justice.
