About this grant
The project goal is to provide coaching and leadership support to leaders of civil society organizations, equipping them to navigate complex and rapidly changing environments while strengthening their impact. As civic space continues to shrink, funding becomes increasingly uncertain, technology evolves rapidly and climate-related disruptions intensify. Civil society leaders face mounting pressure to: 1) anticipate emerging challenges; 2) adapt to shifting conditions; and 3) respond effectively. Navigating this complexity has become one of the most significant challenges facing civil society leadership today. The project aims to equip these leaders with the tools, skills and support they need to lead with confidence, resilience, and adaptability in an increasingly uncertain world. To achieve this goal, Spring will: 1) provide customized virtual leadership coaching; 2) deliver targeted training at relevant convenings; and 3) offer training to small cohorts of leaders on financial resilience and other priority areas. Established in Canada in 2022, Spring works to strengthen the capacity of social and climate justice leaders around the world through leadership coaching and training programs.
