About this grant
This grant will provide general purposes support to the Friends of Berston, which operates the Berston Field House facility and programming. The field house is over 100 years old and serves Flint residents through educational, enrichment and recreational programs. As a community hub, residents use the facility for a variety of community building and gathering activities, such as resource fairs, Thanksgiving giveaways and celebrations. The capital project that is currently underway will significantly expand programming and other opportunities for the organization.
