About this grant
With this grant, Mott Community College will enter the second year of its pilot program designed to increase degree and certificate completion for its students. The strategy is aimed at adult learners and will include using attendance and academic data to serve as an early alert for students who may need extra support. This support will be coordinated through four advocates who will build relationships with students and help ensure barriers are removed for student success. In this second year of the pilot, all adult freshman students will have an adult advocate assigned, compared to the smaller initial cohort of the first year.
