About this grant
This grant provides general purpose funding to the United Way of Genesee County, a health and human services organization serving the residents of Genesee County through its impact focus areas, set to learn (supported learning and youth success) and basic needs (emergency support services, access to health, economic mobility and safety). In addition to the core focus areas, the grantee provides nonprofit sector capacity support through aligned fiduciary services and specific capacity-building activities. United Way of Genesee County also responds to unforeseen emergencies in the community with financial and human resources.
