About this grant
This grant to the National League of Cities Institute will expand educational savings efforts and strengthen municipal approaches that activate savers’ educational aspirations. During the grant period, the grantee will elevate awareness of Children’s Savings Accounts, 529 accounts and emerging 530A accounts, including available seed funding, while working with cities and partners to identify program elements that sustain family engagement and advance postsecondary outcomes. The National League of Cities Institute will also continue supporting municipalities seeking to launch or strengthen Children’s Savings Accounts programs through guidance and local leadership development.
