About this grant
This grant will support the Public School Forum of North Carolina, which coordinates the North Carolina Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) support regional collaboratives focused on expanding access to afterschool programs in the state; 2) build data collection and dissemination systems to communicate the unmet demand for and impacts of afterschool programming in the state; 3) strengthen the afterschool workforce through regional professional development networks; and 4) increase access to quality afterschool programs through Mizzen Education, Inc.
