Teen C.E.O. Initiative

About this grant

This renewal grant will provide support to Mott Community College for the Teens Creating Economic Opportunity, or “Teen C.E.O.” initiative. The goal of the project is to provide underrepresented youth with an opportunity to build entrepreneurial business skills, explore higher education, and investigate career pathways through a summer learning experience. The program will engage youth through: 1) technical training and skill building with digital and fabrication technologies; 2) connecting youth with local leaders and mentors; and 3) facilitating live business pitch competitions and community showcases to celebrate youth accomplishments.
