About this grant
Urgewald is a German organization that conducts research, public education and advocacy on the environmental and human rights risks of energy and infrastructure projects, by engaging commercial banks, private investors and multilateral development banks to shift capital away from fossil fuels towards sustainable alternatives. With this grant increase, Urgewald will organize a series of meetings to accelerate civil society efforts to respond to recent challenges to Multilateral Development Banks’ accountability systems and develop longer-term strategies.
