About this grant
This grant provides general purpose support to the United Way of Genesee County, a health and human services organization serving the residents of Genesee County through four community impact focus areas: education, health, financial stability, and basic needs. In addition to the core support areas, the United Way of Genesee County provides nonprofit sector capacity support through aligned fiduciary services and the Building Excellence, Sustainability, and Trust Project. Since October 2015, the grantee has raised more than $3 million in funds for the Flint water crisis.
