Children’s Health
This has all been possible because the Mott Foundation believed in this program. They believed in a different vision of how we can take care of each other.”Dr. Mona Hanna
Associate dean for public health and Charles Stewart Mott endowed professor of public health at the MSU College of Human Medicine
Thanks to the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital isn’t just another hospital. It is where our Little Victors and their families find hope and healing for complex and rare conditions. It is where they receive revolutionary therapies only offered at a couple places in the nation. And it is where they are comforted, encouraged and supported when facing their most significant challenges.”Luanne Thomas Ewald
Chief Operating Officer, University of Michigan Health’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital
Mott Children’s Health Center is rooted in Mr. Mott’s philanthropy. When he started the Mott Foundation, one of the early focuses was children’s health. He was focused on making sure the children in Genesee County had access to care. This was in the 30s before Medicaid existed, so we were founded in 1939 to provide healthcare for children at no cost.”Todd Wiseley
President and CEO, Mott Children’s Center
