Job-training and -creation initiatives will allow Flint residents to have the same opportunities as any other Genesee County citizen to work in well-paying jobs and attain a high quality of life in a more sustainable community.
The Foundation maintains a priority of ensuring Flint residents benefit from economic activity in and near the city of Flint.
We work with nonprofits and community organizations to ensure Flint has a robust infrastructure that promotes a strong economic development environment. This includes: nextÂ-generation industrial manufacturing sites with high-density job options; local career training organizations that ensure Flint residents are positioned to work at these sites; and opportunities for local, state and national entities to collaborate for continued job growth.
